Built in 1734, this former Archbishop’s grand country house became a hotel in the early 1960’s and hosted many famous visitors, coming to view the renowned Rock of Cashel from the hotel’s historic gardens and explore Ireland from this charming market town in Tipperary.

The restoration began on Cashel Palace in 2017, following the purchase of the property by the Magnier Family.

Working with a conservation architect and a team of local craftspeople and contractors, the family set about restoring one of Ireland’s most impressive Palladian buildings to its former glory.

Cashel Palace Hotel is now a proud Relais & Châteaux member. To provide reliable and elegant shelter for their popular garden terrace Symo supplied four 5mx5m MacSymo white-framed parasols with white branded canopies. The parasols are anchored by in-ground sleeve base fixings.

We also supplied pre-installed integrated heating and LED lighting, creating a cosy 100 sq.m sheltered terrace area.
