Au vieux Saint Martin, Brussels - Quattro parasol
Au Vieux Saint-Martin - Brussels, Belgium
In 1968, Albert Niels opens ‘Au Vieux Saint Martin’, on the artists’ square, place du Grand Sablon in Brussels. The interior was already very trendy for the 1960s and remains 80% the same to this day.
Renovation works are regularly carried out to maintain and refurbish what has been built up by the Niels family over the past 50 years.
This year, the “inventor of the classic beef tartare” (*) chose a classic among the parasols as improvement for the terrace: the Quattro by Symo Parasols.
(*) Joseph Niels, Albert’s father, invented the recipe for the “Filet Américain” (or Steak Tartare) in 1924.
